What a filled two weeks! I had a beautiful day off on Monday with Mel at Little Five Points, a little indie town turned tourist attraction. We walked around, took pictures, and just enjoyed having some time to ourselves. Check for some pictures below!

On Wednesday, we had life lessons at a nearby park, and learned about embracing the season that God has us in right now. It couldn't have come at a better time! I've learned that there is something to be learned in whatever season you are in, and God has you there for a reason. I'm going to remember that wherever he takes me!

Friday we had a nice relaxing day as a group. We were told to wear comfy clothes and we played games, watched a movie, and had a BBQ. It is so nice to just have a relaxing day, and as a team we needed it.

We had another ladies cadre on Monday and Tuesday, the biggest cadre yet with 57 women! I was originally on the kitchen team, but I got pulled to take care of a beautiful 3 month old baby named Brooklyn. She was so perfect, hardly ever crying, and I loved every minute of taking care of her. I can certainly wait to have my own, but I know I am going to love being a mom!

In order to keep our tuition low, we do fundraisers throughout the year to help cover costs. From Wednesday to the following Tuesday we took a 7 hour drive to Daytona for a fundraising opportunity with the Daytona 500- that’s NASCAR in case you didn’t know! We were in charge of keeping the facility clean while over 160 000 people came for the races. It was a lot of work, a lot of long days, and it was cold too! I made some great memories with everyone however, and looking back on it, I am glad I had the opportunity to go.
