Back to Masters!

Well this week has been the usual: amazing, challenging, and so much fun. Beth and I had a scare at the border, as we almost weren't allowed into America! We were held in security for nearly two hours while going through customs, and missed our flight from Toronto to Atlanta. When we finally were allowed in, I got on the next flight to Atlanta, but Beth had to get on the following flight as mine was full. Needless to say, we arrived that evening safe and sound. From that experience, I really got to put my trust in God. I knew that he didn't send us to Atlanta for just half the school year, and he would make a way for us. He did, and through that I got to see his faithfulness in every situation.

This week involved a lot of late nights preparing for cadre, experience, and working on the church renovations. Although we did not get an ideal amount of sleep, we worked hard and found our strength in the joy of the Lord. It was this week that I learned to have a good attitude and a servants heart. At the beginning of the year, I would have been upset for having to work so late. But now, I am actually enjoying the work as I know it is impacting countless lives for God. I think I'm growing!

Sunday was Legacy Sunday at the Tabernacle, where they honored members for their hard work and years of service. One woman has been attending for 72 years! I think it encouraged all of us to leave a legacy, and to do the best we can to make our lives count. After that we had family time: McDonalds and a dollar movie. Yes thats right, in America you can go see movies for a dollar! Today we are helping out with cadre, one of my favorite things. I love to meet people from all over the country, and Jeanne really does coach them well. They will leave here refreshed and ready to go back to their ministry, and impact hundreds of youth themselves. It is so exciting!

The next few weeks, if not months, are going to be more busy than ever. I will try to keep updating, but I can't promise I will have a lot of time to do so! Please keep me in your prayers, and God bless all my readers :)
