This past week has been hard mentally, but I have learned a lot. I got to hang out with my small group gang, AUDAX, several times this week. From movies, to apples to apples, to 02 night, it's been really good to connect with them, since I have not been seeing them all on a regular basis. Our group is good at getting people to come out, but lacking on the spiritual side. As a leadership team we are really praying to see more growth not for more kids, but for the ones we have to grow closer to God.
Experience is coming up, and so we have been busy preparing for that every day. Experience is three days where anyone interested in Masters can come, stay at the apartments with us, and see what we are all about. We have so many fun things planned, and I can't wait for them to come! I am a part of the sisterhood spotlight, and the worship team spotlight, where we just give a brief synopsis of how awesome our programs really are. We have a run-through with Jeanne tonight, I'm so excited!
Living with 5 other girls is not always a party, as I'm sure you have guessed. The past week, we have all been struggling to get along, and keep our apartment clean and organized. Tensions were building up, until on Friday when Pastor Adam called us into his office. Whoever was on trash duty threw it in the woods instead of the trash disposal, and the apartment maintenance people found out it was us. We got a probation, a $25 fine, and were requested to clean up around our apartment building the following Monday. At first, I was furious! I didn't throw the trash out there, and I didn't see who did it, so why should I be punished for it?! The next day at probation really changed my attitude, and helped me understand his reasoning for our punishment. We are an apartment, we all need to help each other out. If one of us fails, we all do. We needed to work on our communication as an apartment: if someone was running late and wouldn't be able to take out the trash, then we should help them out and do it for them. That's what being sisters is all about. We all grew closer during that probation, as we had to work together to get the tasks done. By the end of it, I was actually glad we had probation! This is just an example of the things we learn at Masters. Not just about God and his word, but every day things that make you a better person. God has been changing me the past few weeks so much, and I know I would never have had the motivation to change if I was at home. I love every day of being here, no matter how hard and testing it may be.
Hear all about my adventures as I spend 9 months attending Masters Commission in Atlanta, Georgia!

A Week of Transition
Where do I even begin to start? Last Monday and Tuesday was the Ladies Cadre. I met some wonderful pastors wives and youth pastors who had such a heart for their kids, and a heart after God. Every cadre I'm a part of, I love the experience even more. I can't wait for the next one!
On Wednesday we were back at the church for classes and oxygen that night. It was one of the most incredible worship experiences in my life, God was so there and I'm sure everyone felt it. He delights in the praises of his people, that's for sure!
I'm sure some of you are wondering about my missions trip with Operation Blessing coming up in April. I have to raise $300 US to cover my travel, food, and lodging expenses, and I am doing well so far. I have approximately $170 in... just $130 to go! I would like to ask you if you would partner with me and be one of my sponsors on this exciting mission. There are two ways in which I am seeking partnership, prayerfully and financially. Every little but helps, so it doesn’t matter how big or small. Also, please pray for me and our group, as well as for the hearts of the people with whom we will come in contact. Thank you in advance for your time and prayers. It means so much to me and those we will be ministering to. God is going to do great things, and I am going with a heart of expectancy! To send finances, you can send them to either me at our church address, or if you prefer, to my parents. They will make sure to get it to me! Here are the addresses:

On Friday, we had family time, and learned the sad news that our brother, Caleb, would be leaving Master's and heading back to Texas. Due to some serious health issues with his family, he needed to go home and take care of them. It was hard news to swallow, and I didn't realize how close our family was until this happened. We sent him off later that day, and although I have no idea why this would happen to him, I'm trusting that God knows. He works all things together for good, and I know that this is no exception. Caleb, you will be missed. We will see you at graduation!
Saturday was our day off, so my sister and I went shopping. It was good to get out and have some fun in light of the previous days events. On Sunday we were at the church all day, then we went to Christina's apartment for family time with the staff. We talked about Caleb leaving, played Balderdash, and just had fun. It was a great way to just relax, and our family needed it!

Coming up soon is experience, a fundraiser in Daytona, spring retreat, and cadres are coming every few weeks as well. It sure isn't going to get any less busy around here, but I love it!

Back to Masters!
Well this week has been the usual: amazing, challenging, and so much fun. Beth and I had a scare at the border, as we almost weren't allowed into America! We were held in security for nearly two hours while going through customs, and missed our flight from Toronto to Atlanta. When we finally were allowed in, I got on the next flight to Atlanta, but Beth had to get on the following flight as mine was full. Needless to say, we arrived that evening safe and sound. From that experience, I really got to put my trust in God. I knew that he didn't send us to Atlanta for just half the school year, and he would make a way for us. He did, and through that I got to see his faithfulness in every situation.
This week involved a lot of late nights preparing for cadre, experience, and working on the church renovations. Although we did not get an ideal amount of sleep, we worked hard and found our strength in the joy of the Lord. It was this week that I learned to have a good attitude and a servants heart. At the beginning of the year, I would have been upset for having to work so late. But now, I am actually enjoying the work as I know it is impacting countless lives for God. I think I'm growing!
Sunday was Legacy Sunday at the Tabernacle, where they honored members for their hard work and years of service. One woman has been attending for 72 years! I think it encouraged all of us to leave a legacy, and to do the best we can to make our lives count. After that we had family time: McDonalds and a dollar movie. Yes thats right, in America you can go see movies for a dollar! Today we are helping out with cadre, one of my favorite things. I love to meet people from all over the country, and Jeanne really does coach them well. They will leave here refreshed and ready to go back to their ministry, and impact hundreds of youth themselves. It is so exciting!
The next few weeks, if not months, are going to be more busy than ever. I will try to keep updating, but I can't promise I will have a lot of time to do so! Please keep me in your prayers, and God bless all my readers :)
